Writing Desk Fountain Pen Ink

I have fallen in love with this bottle of ink! I love everything about it – the bottle design, the color (brown), the box, but mostly, it’s the name of the ink I love – Writing Desk Fountain Pen Ink. Does that not invoke a call to writing?

ink bottle and boxThe ink was created by Ferris Wheel Press out of Canada. You may recall that they were featured in Letters & Journals magazine and they were a recent sponsor of a giveaway.

Now I’m trying to find the right combination of pen and paper to match this with, which is half the fun of getting a new bottle of ink. Recently someone asked on Instagram what people do with their empty bottles of ink. A common response was that we have no empty bottles because we have so many and never use any up.

Do you have a favorite ink color, ink name, or ink brand?

I like that bottle and ink color, too. I would probably find a cream colored paper and use my Mont Blanc fountain pen that my mother gave me. But, you’re right – the ink requires a special pen and paper to work well.

A pen that your mother gave you! How special! Thanks for sharing.
