World Postcard Day is October 1

Are you prepared to send postcards on the first ever World Postcard Day this October 1? In anticipation of this event, I ordered these postcards featured at the Christopher Arndt Postcard Company. I plan to begin mailing some in September through October 1, but truthfully, I am always sending postcards as they are such a great way to keep in touch.
If you would like to receive a postcard from me, please leave a comment here AND email me your name and mailing address Jackie (at) LettersandJournals (dot) com. I plan to send 10 various postcards to people beginning with followers and commenters on this blog. Next I will go to the Postcrossing website, or SendSomething.net if less than 10 people participate here. At least five postcards will be the one you see featured above, and the others will be general postcards I have on hand.
Other ways I plan to promote and celebrate World Postcard Day include blog posts, Instagram pics featuring some of my favorite postcards, highlighting others who are participating in World Postcard Day, and connecting with others on social media sharing the love of sending and receiving postcards in general.
You can read more about the origin of World Postcard Day here and here. There are also lists of ways you can plan and participate. #WorldPostcardDay #PostcardRevolution2020.
