First Class Stamp Prices Will Go to .55 Cents on January 27

On January 27, 2019 the price of a first class stamp will go from .50 cents to .55 cents. Additional ounces for first class stamps will drop from .21 cents down to .15 cents. The new price for a 2 oz. first class letter will be .70 cents instead of the current rate of.71 cents.

Postcard rates of .35 cents will remain the same, as will international rates for letters and postcards ($1.15 for 1 oz and the same price for international postcards).
