A Visit to the Twin Cities Book Festival

Earlier this month, I attended the Twin Cities Annual Book Festival which I had talked about in this blog post as a prelude to the event. We had other plans going on that Saturday so I was only there for about an hour and didn’t get a chance to see any authors who were speaking throughout the day. With our busier than normal weekend plans, I was glad to get there at all.

I saw many interesting people, book titles, exhibits and displays. It was a little overwhelming. Usually, I like to stop at tables and visit for a bit before moving on to the next one but with my time constraints, that was not happening on this day. I looked for a few local authors I know, but did not see any familiar faces.

As you can see in the photos there were a lot of people wearing jackets as the snow was continuing outside from when it started the day before. Brrr…

On my way out, I went through this lovely walk way. It’s very different being in the state fairgrounds when the fair isn’t going on. If you look closely, you can see some snowflakes against the red barn door.
